Ayurveda
Ayurveda is a more than 6,000-year-old comprehensive system of medicine based on a holistic approach rooted in Vedic culture. Ayurveda, from India, may be the world's oldest intact system of healing, dating from between 3000 and 2000 BC.
"Prevention is better than cure" - is the principle followed by Ayurveda. Ayurveda in Sanskrit means "the science of Life". Ayurveda is a holistic healing science, which comprises of two words, Ayu and Veda. Ayu means life and Veda means knowledge or science. Therefore, the literal meaning of the word Ayurveda is the science of life.
As mentioned above Ayurveda is a science of life so to know more about it, we must know what life is. Life according to Ayurveda is a combination of senses, mind, body and soul. So it is clear from this definition of life that Ayurveda is not only limited to body or physical symptoms but also gives a comprehensive knowledge about spiritual, mental and social health.
It is an ancient, unfailing system of treatment based on medicines prepared from herbal plants found in abundance in India. Ayurveda is an integral part of the people of India. This ancient knowledge system of medicine has gained global acceptance especially for alternative ways of preventive, curative and rejuvenate processes making life a more pleasurable experience. This has a holistic approach and it helps maintain the balance of the physiological systems and plays a vital role in preventing diseases and revitalizing the entire life system body, mind and soul.
Basic Principles of Ayurveda Science:
According to the Ayurveda, some of the popular "health foods" of today are not actually good for your health at all. Western "health food" advocates generally prescribes the same kind of food for everyone. However, according to the Ayurveda the con situation of your body determines what food is good for you. There are five elements, which constitutes the bodily make up air, fire, water, earth & ether. There are three kinds of people, depending on which elements are predominating:
AIR People (Vata): Generally underweight, skinny, with thin bone structure. Philosophical, loves travelling, emotional, sentimental and artistic. Prone to rheumatic pains, heaviness, gas, rough skin, weak digestion and nervousness.
FIRE People (Pitta): Moderate in weight, with strong bone structure. Technical, sportive, intelligent, energetic, hard working, tendency for leadership. Prone to allergies, skin diseases, headache, acidity, etc.
WATER & EARTH People (Kapha): Generally overweight, heavy, with thick bone structure. Business minded, very creative, diplomatic, quick in money making, tactful. Prone to blood circulatory disorders, heart diseases, muscular pains, mucus, etc.
According to Ayurveda, from birth to death, doshas influence the health status and physical constitution of a man, either positively or negatively. Doshas are the functional intelligences within the body. As soon as life enters into the body, three vital principles emerge which regulate and control the biological functions.

Ghee: GHRUTHAM
Ghruthams are preparations in which Ground Drugs are bailed with Ghee and the prescribed Liquids according to the formula. Through this process, we are ensuring the absorption of active therapeutic principles of the ingredients and preserving in fat medium.

Seed of Pomegranate benefits your Heart!

     Two things are full of benefits for the human being, lukewarm water and pomegranate. Pomegranate is a seasonal fruit so I tried an experiment with dried pomegranate seeds(DRY ANARDANA), prepared a decoction boiling the fistful of dried seeds in half liter of water for 10 minutes, squeezed the seeds, strained the decoction and advised those patients suffering from painful angina to use a glass of lukewarm decoction on an empty stomach in the morning, amazing result was observed, the decoction of dried pomegranate seeds worked like a magic, the feelings of tightness and heaviness of chest and the pain had gone.

     It encouraged me to try more experiments on all types of cardiac patients so I tried other experiments on patients who were suffering from painful angina, coronary arterial blockage, cardiac ischemia (insufficient blood flow to the heart muscle) etc, waiting for a bypass surgery, the same lukewarm decoction was used empty stomach in the morning, the patients experienced quick relief in all symptoms including painful condition.

     In another case of coronary arterial blockage the patient started using half glass of fresh pomegranate juice everyday for one year, although all symptoms were completely relieved within a week but he continued taking it for a whole year, it completely reversed the plaque build-up and unblocked his arteries to normal, the angiography report confirmed the evidence, thus decoction of dried pomegranate seeds, fresh pomegranate juice or eating a whole pomegranate on empty stomach in the morning proved to be a miracle cure for cardiac patients.

     But the lukewarm dried seeds decoction proved to be more effective compared to eating a whole pomegranate or fresh pomegranate juice, use of pomegranate in any way has demonstrated even more dramatic effects as blood thinner, pain killing properties for cardiac patients, lowers LDL (low-density lipoprotein or bad cholesterol) and raises the HDL (high-density lipoprotein or good cholesterol) , there are more than 50 different types of heart diseases the most common being coronary artery disease (CAD), which is the number one killer of both women and men in some countries, and there has been no medicinal cure for this disease, many cardiac patients have reversed their heart diseases on my advice using one glass of lukewarm decoction of pomegranate dried seeds, half glass of fresh pomegranate juice or eating a whole pomegranate on empty stomach in the morning, it was the very first real breakthrough in the history of cardiology to successfully treat the cardiac diseases by a fruit, The more super foods to obtain the even faster results for cardiac patients which are most promising curative and protective agents like fresh raisins, quince, guava, prunes (dried plums), natural vinegar, mixture of grape fruit juice and honey in the morning (empty stomach), basil leaves, chicory leaves, powder of oregano leaves and rock salt in equal quantity (in case the patient is not hypertensive) and sesame oil as cooking oil for cardiac patients.


     It is regretted to say that treating the heart patients and bypass surgery has become far more profitable business around the world which has failed to help avert life threatening heart attacks and life time cardiac complications resulting in almost paralyzed life. A regular use of pomegranate in any way ensures a healthy cardiac life, thinning your blood, dissolving the blood clots and obstruction inside the coronary arteries, maintains an optimal blood flow, supports a healthy blood pressure, prevents and reverses atherosclerosis;Thickening of the internal lining of the blood vessels.

It is summer now in India and now that summer is upon us, the land will be heating up. High temperatures and humidity can place special stress on the body, since we tend to spend more time outdoors during warmer weather. Dehydration often results because people tend to wait until they feel thirsty before drinking, but if you wait until you're thirsty it's too late. Bilwa Juice

Ingredients: Bilwa fruit - 1, Jaggery - 2 tbsp (optional), Water – 2 glasses, Black pepper powder - 1 pinch, Rock salt – pinch, Lemon –according to taste.

Method of Preparation: Take out the inner pulp from the fruit and put it in a vessel. Add water in the pulp and mix them nicely in hand blender. Add sugar, rock salt and black pepper powder in it. Take a filter and filter the seeds of the fruit from the juice. Add lemon if needed and stir well. Bilwa fruit helps in digestion, gastric complaint, constipation, diarrhoea, abdominal cramps and nausea.

Rasayan tea, Ingredients: Bala seed (Sida cordifolia), Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), Nagbala (Grewia hirsuta), Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia), Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus), Yastimadhu (Glycerrhiza glabra), Ela (Elettaria cardamomum).
